The Smith Rack has guide rods which eliminate the need for you to balance the barbell and focus purely on the lifting movement. The guide rods has lock-out points up and down the track and a quick twist of the wrist engages these points, locking the barbell in place. This eliminates the need for a spotter, providing weight lifters with more independence.
