We rarely receive complaints regarding the rubber smell, but it has happened. We advise customers to give it 2-3 weeks, and the rubber smell will fade away. The reason is that these items are new in factory boxes and have likely been in those boxes for months. Once they are opened, you may notice the rubber smell, but if they've been on a rack for more than 2-3 weeks, the smell will go away.
