THE HARDEST WORKOUT IN THE GYM JUST GOT HARDER.

Introducing the new StairMaster 10G with 16" OpenHub display, now powered by Android OS. The StairMaster 10G marks a revolutionary shift in stair-climbing technology. The innovative new design features the OverDrive Training Mode that simulates carrying or pushing a load up stairs, for the most intense climbing workout. The 10G's advancements all focus on delivering the best climbing experience ever created. User-focused features include the widest and deepest stepping surface and lowest step-up height in the industry, ergonomic handrails to support multiple climbing positions and an all new drive train that delivers smooth, quiet performance.

The Nuts and Bolts - A quick explanation as to why our drivesystem works: The 10G, 8Gx and 4G all share the same mechanical design, championed by a generator based drivesystem vs Alternator. As a user climbs stairs, the generator creates resistance; this resistance prevents the steps from 'free-falling' - this is why the creation of resistance is important. Because the generator-based drivesystem is lightly geared (has a low gear ratio), the generator does not have to spin at a high rate to generate resistance. This is important because it means lighter-weight users won't have an issue generating resistance. In contrast, previous designs (pre-2019) utilized an alternator which requires a high gear ratio (needs to spin fast in order to generate resistance), higher gear ratios mean more friction in the system and thus needs more downward force to move. More friction is also prone to other issues.

IMPORTANT: Ceiling Height Requirements: Generally, the user will be up to 33" to 36" taller than their actual height on revolving staircase / stepmill units. 8' ceilings (standard in homes) will rarely work. Please contact us if you have questions as to whether this will fit in your setting. We will need your exact ceiling height and the height of the tallest user.
